MCG Changes Invoice Due Date
Oskaloosa, IA (February 3, 2006) - Mahaska Communication Group constantly evaluates business practices to ensure that our customers are served in the most efficient way possible. Sometimes, changes in the way we do business are necessary.
We are extending the bill due date by approximately 5 days. Currently you receive an invoice from MCG by the 10th of each month with the due date being the 25th of that month. Beginning with your next invoice, you will still receive your invoice by the 10th of the month, but you will now have until the 1st day of the following month to make your payment. So your February invoice will be due on March 1st rather than February 25th.
We are also extending our grace period for past due payments from 7 days to 10 days. If your payment is not remitted by the 1st of the month we will send a reminder notice on the following business day. You will then have 10 calendar days to remit the past due amount including the finance charge to avoid disconnection.
