MCG Adds ESPNU to Television Channel Line Up
Oskaloosa, IA - Mahaska Communication Group (MCG) announced today the addition of ESPNU to their television channel lineup. Event programming is the cornerstone of ESPNU, and features approximately 300 annual live events.
ESPNU offers regular-season Division One games, highlighted by Division One football and men's and women's college basketball. It also includes baseball, softball, volleyball, lacrosse, hockey, wrestling and spring football, plus select high school football telecasts. Many events are aired exclusively on the network, while other ESPNU telecasts co-exist with events syndicated on other outlets regionally through ESPN Regional Television (ERT) arrangements.
In addition, many of the top college sports events televised on ABC Sports, ESPN, ESPN2 and through ESPN Regional Television's syndicated outlets are replayed on ESPNU. In many cases, those replays immediately follow the original telecasts.
MCG digital television customers can view ESPNU on channel 21. ESPN 2 originally was on channel 21 and has been moved to channel 22.
The addition of ESPNU increases MCG’s basic television channel line up to 106 television channels along with 45 commercial free music channels.
